Miami Music Week (MMW) 2025 has once again solidified its reputation as a premier event in the electronic dance music (EDM) calendar. From March 25 to March 30, Miami pulsed with energy, hosting over 200 events that showcased a spectrum of EDM genres, from deep house and techno to drum and bass.

Ultra Music Festival's 25th Anniversary

A centerpiece of MMW, the Ultra Music Festival celebrated its 25th anniversary at Bayfront Park from March 28 to 30. The festival featured an impressive lineup, including Armin van Buuren, Afrojack, Tiësto, Martin Garrix, and Hardwell. Notably, Carl Cox introduced his new show at the Resistance Megastructure, and Axwell made his solo debut on the main stage. Collaborations between deadmau5 and Pendulum, as well as Anyma with Solomun, added to the festival's allure.

Skrillex's Triumphant Return

After a decade-long hiatus from solo performances at Ultra, Skrillex made a highly anticipated return to the main stage on March 29. His electrifying set was a masterclass in genre-blending, featuring exclusive IDs, remixes, and collaborations that spanned from heavy-hitting dubstep to techno-infused tracks. Fans were treated to a dynamic performance that showcased Skrillex's versatility and reaffirmed his status as a leading figure in the EDM scene.

E11EVEN Miami's Stellar Lineup

E11EVEN Miami, renowned for its 24-hour party atmosphere, hosted five days and nights of unparalleled performances. The venue welcomed EDM heavyweights such as Marshmello on March 28, Diplo on March 29, and a massive closing party on March 30 featuring Steve Aoki, Laidback Luke, and Flosstradamus.

Winter Music Conference's 35th Anniversary

Celebrating its 35th anniversary, the Winter Music Conference (WMC) took place from March 26 to 28 at the Eden Roc Miami Beach Resort. WMC united influential voices in dance music for discussions, workshops, and networking opportunities, culminating in an official pool party on March 27.

Diverse Events Across Miami

Beyond the major festivals, MMW 2025 featured a plethora of events catering to diverse musical tastes. Club Space hosted performances by artists like Hugel, while ZeyZey's evening lineups included acts such as A-Trak and Dennis Ferrer. The Sagamore Hotel offered house music sessions, and Dante's Hi-Fi presented daytime dance parties. Factory Town, LIV, Floyd, Medium Cool, and Mad Radio were among other venues that contributed to the week's vibrant atmosphere.

A Celebration of Creativity

MMW 2025 was not solely about the music; it was a celebration of creativity that brought together visual artists, dancers, and performers, enhancing the immersive experience for attendees.

As the beats fade and Miami returns to its usual rhythm, the memories of MMW 2025 linger, leaving fans eagerly anticipating next year's festivities.
